wires to coil
Picked up a pertronix used on Craigslist and didn't get instructions. 2 wires are coming out of dizzy. A red and a black. I read that the red goes to the positive terminal on the coil and the black goes to the negative on the coil.
Couple questions. There was a condenser grounded to the heads, do I discard this condenser for the pertronix set up? Also, there is a red wire coming from the cab (the ignition switch???) That was hooked up to the coil, I don't remember if that went to the positive or negative terminal on the coil. Red seems like it would be positive but I don't want to burn out the pertronix by hooking it up wrong so I'm second guessing myself.
What says you guys?

Hm, 80 views. Let me try to restate the question. Maybe I made it more confusing then it needed to be.
Does the red wire that comes from inside the cab to the coil get connected to the neg or the pos terminal on the coil?
And do I continue to use the external condenser (mounted through a valve cover bolt) if I'm using a pertronix elecric ignition?
