I am not really sure about the differences here are some things things it does. I have only played with it a little

multiple truck and trailer combinations. I have it saved with the approximate information for my truck with the camper and my truck alone. In camper mode it gave me plenty of warning for the low bridge I go under on my way to work.

displays speed limit and tells you when it is changing

Sharp curve and steep grade alerts. Seems like anything you want to be under the speed limit for. It goes off on a few curves I would slow to 50 for if towing .

I use it for the hands-free use of my cellphone. I can actually hear people on it driving in the truck that is a first. Not a priority but it is nice

The biggest difference seems to be the poi's loaded which I may add the campground poi's. I like the truck stops and repair shops. Frankly I don't understand why they have 2 just add everything into one.

I plan to use 2 back up cameras with it. One on the back of the camper and one on the truck.

the RV 760 is old.. and was replaced by the RV660 new model

Dezl 770 came out 2 plus years ago.. trucker..
RV 770 is New.. came out a few months ago.

Dezl 770.. Trucker, download from POI Factory the RV stuff (free).. so almost the same as RV 770.
Dezl 780 .. Trucker is out or will be very soon..

go to the Garmin website for all the differences.

I have the BC-30 backup camera .. mounted behind trailer.. nice to see back there.

Does the backup camera allow you to turn it on as an observation camera for lane changes or is it strictly a backup camera?

yes you can do that as long as it has power. I will tie in to the wiring for the running lights for that reason.you use a button or 2 in the menu to see it whenever you want.

If you use reverse lights it pops up automatically but only works in reverse.

Standard NUVI from Garmin. Know you RV's height and drive on, there are signs with heights, too low go around. A previous post was truckers Atlas, good advise if the 80,000 lbs @ 75ft can do it so should and RV. Just watch your down hill speed, you can go down hundreds of times too slow, only once too fast.

I have the Garmin RV 770 unit.

When I am at home, I use Google Maps to get a rough idea of the route and distance. When I start my trip, I have both Google Maps (via Android Auto) and the 770 GPS. When there is a discrepancy, I make a judgement call based on the distance of either device and whether or not it stays on the interstate.

Google will avoid traffic for you, but can also lead you under a bridge. It will let you know about alternate routes and how much time you save. Ultimately, the 770 GPS will keep you out of trouble.

I rarely, if ever, use a paper map anymore.
