F600 Vin Decoder
Can someone please help me out with the vin on this truck. Just trying to help an older gentleman who has the truck and is trying to sale

What year vehicle is it? The VIN will ID the engine but not the transmission. If the truck still has the warranty plate, that will have the trans. code on it. The warranty plate is mounted on the edge of the driver's door, just below the latch.

The fourth digit of the VIN is the engine code.
D=Heavy duty 330 V8 w/ a 2 barrel carb.
Your complete VIN, F60DVR20136, decodes:
F60= F600 conventional cab, gas
D=330 HD 2V
V= Kentucky truck plant
R20136=Consecutive serial number. Built in February, 1973
If you can find the "TRANS" code on the door mounted warranty plate I can also ID the transmission.
