Leer cap pricing

Hello everybody!
I'm about to buy a 2015 xlt supercrew with the mid-size bed. Before I ship the truck to Germany I'd like to buy a cap. I was wondering how much a leer cap would cost me, but it's pretty hard (at least for me) to find informations on how much I have to pay for it. I'd like to keep it simple and have chosen the leer 100R with a front sliding window. The 100R is lockable right?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Most caps I see are between $1,500 to $2,200. I have the Century Ultra, I'm very happy with it. I don't think I've ever seen a cap that isn't lockable, mine is.

Does Germany require the orange blinkers in the back? We had to add in ugly orange lights on the Cadillac we brought to the UK because they required orange, not red blinkers.

Century is Leers entry level from what I was told. I have their tonneau and love it...

The company that is importing the truck for me told me 3600 CAD(about 2770 US$) for the installed cap. It think that's a little expensive. What do you guys think about this price?

I think it’s high. I recently paid $1500 US for a 100r with sliding front window installed. Yes it’s lockable.

Ok, thanks for your answeres! Now I have something to negotiate with.
The truck that I'm buying has the 5.0 with 77.000 Km, 302A and XTR Package.
The price is 32.000 CAD. Thats about 24.500 US$ I think that is OK.

@Wiggums: Yes, I have to change a lot. The blinkers LEDs in the back have to be switched for orange ones and a few electronic things that have to be done.
In total I will have to pay round about 5.000$ until I'm allowed to drive it here.

Thanks for that. For some reason I thought they were heavier.

You may not have the time to wait, but if you can then I would look at getting a nice used cap. They fall off in price once they are used. I kicked myself because after I bought a new one for my 2012 150 crewcab lariat for $2100 I saw a craigslist add for a used one that was the right color for $900.

Just a thought f you have time to be picky
