I am looking for a set of LED headlight bulbs that has the same color as the stock factory headlights. I don't want the super white or blue looking lights. (for some reason I can't see as well with them) but I do like the longevity and reliability of the LED lights. Ideally, they would look light factory sealed beams when installed and turned on. Anyone know if they even make them?
All you really need to do is buy a (non sealed) 7 inch housing with H4 plugs and off you go. It’s pretty simple but a little bit spendy. Also make sure you do the headlight relay mod if you have not yet
You don’t need to, however it’s stil good practice to do so. Still gonna be way less amperage running through your switch and I have personally seen a difference
Did not know one could make an LED or HID headlight generate the same light color as an incandescent lamp. Anyway, there is a company called trucklite that sells a lot of solutions that should fit our trucks. I used their 7-inch round headlight on a previously Harley I owned. Was a reasonable option to the $500 price for a single headlight from Harley. However, with my current bike I got the new style led 7-inch headlamps and they are great - I ride at dusk/dawn and night a lot.
