Vent window rattle

my drivers side vent window apparently rattles when open. quick comparison with the pax side they appear to me about the same amount of wiggle but when you go over a bump there is a definite rattle sound from the drivers side. Only hit a few bumps before i closed them just in case.

where to start looking?

Start with the basics, have the window open, and physically check by hand the forward, and aft points. You might have a loose motor to window coupler.

i'm hoping it is just a loose motor. there is a bit more slop in the hinge points on the motor when comparing the 2 sides.

if i don't open it all the way there wasn't really any rattle, but there is a pop type sound if you open it all the way, again just drivers side

both motors were loose, pax side was a tad looser and not the window that really rattled :/

only other thing i see is the plastic piece that must have metal underneath it glued to the window itself has a touch more play in the driver side than the pax, but the metal piece that is glued to the window is solid with no play or gaps.. Is there a way to fix this?

didn't drive it yet, might just not open them fully when i do, but the rattle should be better i think now that the motors are snugged back up to the body

That's an area that I have not ventured into as my powered quarter windows are OK. I do want to replace the window gaskets, the replacement window gaskets are only avail as a kit including the new quarter glass, gasket, and body/motor mounts. About 500.00 Ea wholesale cost.
