Ive got keyless entry on my 94 club wagon but have not used it in years. Today somehow the alarm went off when I opend up the door to get out. The Key fob
batteries were dead and i had to unhook the batterey to shut off the alarm, in a busy shopping center, LOL
New batteries and the Key fobs do not work. I remember replacing the batteries before and they worked find.
Do I have to reprogram them due to the batteries being dead for so long or having the Vehicle battery being unhooked for a certain period of time ????
Its factory. I discovered that the remotes are just very pooly designed.
I got one to work by placing a small peice of plastic under the new batteries to push up the contact. I have found used and new ones online pretty cheap. I might just go that route.
