Need complete 5th wheel hitch
One thing I don't see talked about much with the Andersen.... If I get forgetful or just screw up the connection on a traditional hitch and pull off that thing is probably falling on my bed (or worse).
The Andersen isn't idiot proof but seems more so than traditional.
I also like the idea of setting up by just raising the camper off the hitch instead of pulling off every time. Of course, this is somewhat dependent on slope/height of setup.
Yes if you get the coupler over the ball and forget to latch it it will be more forgiving. I know a guy towing a bumper pull 27 foot v-nose snow coach that forgot to latch the ball to the coupler and then drove 500 miles, he hit a rough stretch of interstate and the coupler bounced and he heard the rattle so he stopped to check and discovered. I imagine that could happen with an Andersen. Just be careful and try not to have a problem if going traditional or Andersen.

You're still going to need to pull out from under the camper with either hitch in order to level the unit. I am debating on getting the Anderson hitch but my Curt normal 5th wheel hitch is just so freaking easy to hook and unhook. I do not see how the Anderson can be any easier to connect to.
