Question on shocks
I have a 1990 F-150 1/2 ton with a 302EFI 2x4, what would be some good shocks for it and I have been looking at shocks that Autozone sells and they have some that have springs on them, well what I'm asking is will they give me a few inchs of lift and will turns feel more stable? My front seems some what low will putting them also on the front help out?

Hmmm, multiple problems that are beyond my expertise. I can say that a stabilizer bar (aka anti-roll bar) will firm up the handling in turns. If you don't already have one. I put one on my '95 F150 and can cut some pretty impressive turns (for me anyway) squeeling the tires and very little body roll. I't was one of the best mods I did, that and boring holes in the back of my muffler for that good old truck sound

those shocks will not give your truck any aditional lift. they are mainly for have loads and added stability. They will help with cornering and body sway but I wouldnt recomend them for that.
Look into the Pro-comp shocks if you want a firm ride. If comfort and nice road handleing is your thing then you cant beat a monroe sensatrac IMO.
