So I have a f250 crew cab. It has the stock “chrome” tint in the back and nothin in the front. I want to make it match but I been told you can’t remove factory tint but I hate the chrome. Wondering what did everybody else did. Pics? Thanks.
That is in the glass and is not tint. There is nothing you can do about it without actually replacing the glass. I actually hate the way that looks too.

Anybody tried covering it with a dark tint or will that look worse than it already does?
The rear window is pretty easy to remove and reinstall if you just have a solid window. I can't speak for a slider, I never replaced one. But a solid rear window from a junkyard would probably only run $10-20 if you pull it yourself.
If the door windows are then that should just be tint. Every door window I ever saw was clear. See if there is a lip on the edge of the glass. I thought you meant the rear window or supercab windows which sometimes have a weird light reflective tint or a goldish reflective color.

You NEED to remove the factory mirrored tinted windows and get clear ones. The tint is embedded in the glass and you cannot remove it or cover it up
