As I begin to modify my truck I wanted to have a centralized location on the forums to share my experiences with everyone. I make youtube videos of all of my installs and thought that some might find the information to be helpful. I didn't call this a Build Thread as I will not be doing anything too drastic to the truck, more so basic mods and improvements.

I am sure my list will grow as I continue to browse through the forums but for now this is a pretty good start. I am open to ideas and suggestions especially from those of you with experience with a particular mod/brand of product. Thanks for checking out the Mod Thread and I hope you enjoy the content.
Picture of my truck "The Beast" as I like to call it for reference to future changes.
The first mod to the truck was a custom plate that my dad wanted me to have. I chose Beast 17 for a few reasons. First off because this truck is an absolute BEAST! Secondly because the movie Beauty and the Beast has deep roots in my family and I have a 2013 Mustang GT I would consider the beauty in this duo. Thirdly because I work for a cool company that has Beast in its slogan. Plus I think the blacked out plate looks nice on the truck!
The Next mod I did was upgrade to the Lariat Steering wheel (PN:HC3Z-3600-EB) which was a very affordable upgrade at $160 and took no longer than 15 minutes to install. I made a video of this for those interested in it.
Next up on my list was to get rid of the ginormous front valance that comes on these 4wd trucks. Slapping on a 2wd valance was as easy as 19 screws and removing the 2 'claws' (4 nuts) from under the bumper. 30 min job max with hand tools and probably a 10 minute job with power tools. Overall having the 3 inch short front valance made the front of the truck look much taller.
I recently installed the tailgate damper (PN:HC3Z-99406A10-A) and this is easily one of the most helpful mods I could have put in. It is a shame that Ford doesn't offer this as a standard feature.
ABSOLUTLEY!!! I am currently looking at the ready lift 2.5" leveling kit with track bar relocation as well as wheels and tires. I have also listed plans for future mods in the first post.

Couldn't agree more, especially when the step kit is ordered, Ford should include this simple item as well. Nice vids, I'm subscribing too. I look forward to the ReadyLift vid.

Thanks for the sub Jim! I would love to have the step kit on my tailgate. I found a really good deal for the ReadyLift kit on Amazon so I think I am going to order that soon.

I have not but I will keep a close eye on it and report back to you after I go through this tank of gas.
