has anyone tried to install a Bacflip G2 cover on a F150 that has the optional loading ramps. The dealer can’t tell me if it will fit fir sure. The Ford covers say some of their covers will not fit with that option. Thanks!

I don't know what's different that would prevent the bacflip from being installed. The bacflip is attached to the top rails on the box, and the loading ramps don't go anywhere near there. The ramps do change the lip of the tailgate on the inside edge, so maybe there's something there that locks the bacflip down? When the ramps are stowed, the attach to the boxlink attachment points.
The rails of the Bacflip attach under the box rails. I looked at the install on YouTube but it doesn’t give a clear view of how far the rails come down. The ramps do stow close to the rail so I’m wondering if they can still be clamped on. I don’t need the ramps there all the time, but when I do use them I would like to stow them without removing the cover.
I just looked at mine and they hang down about 1.25" below the lower edge of the rails. Could very well interfere with the ramps. Since the ramps have to fit above the wheel well housings, it probably won't fit.
The ramp on the lip on the back is not the problem. I was told there just isn't enough room between the side of the rams and the lip for the cover to lock down. I know on my hard hat the latches won't work becase the hit the end of the ramps. I jut put the m in the garage and load them when I need them. If I was going to haul a 4 wheeler any distance it's not that had to put the hanger brackets back in. Otherwise I just put one on either side.

thats probably what I will also do as there will be fewer times I need the ramps compared to needing the cover. I guess its not a perfect world and we can’t have everything. Big change for me going from a 2013 F250 single cab down to a F150 club cab with a 6.5 box. Or maybe I’m going “up” to the new truck. Lol
I have the BakFlip MX4 on my 2015 F-150 5.5ft, and I can tell you that the ramps will likely not fit. I was looking at getting them as well. Any cover that sits flush to your bed like the bakflip does will likely cause interference. I'm just going to get one of those cheap ramps from harbor freight and use that for my dirtbike, save myself a quick $300+.
I'll tell you this. I have the ramps, and almost never have them mounted on the brackets on the sides. The box link cleats are installed about 99% of the time. When I do use the ramps, I typically slide them along side, or underneath whatever I used them to load. If I'm concerned about theft, I will cable lock them. When I'm done, I hang them on the wall in the garage.
