Dana Front Cover

i have pro comp aluminum covers that i want to put on and on the front cover on the side closest to the u bolt bracket it looks there has to be grinding to make it fit. anyone with these aluminum covers can they tell me if they needed anything to be done to make fit.

I have the ORU diff covers. I remember it being a tight fit right where you are talking about. But I didn't need to grind it off. I would call them up and ask... Or just pop off that cover and try it out. If it doesn't fit then call the company let them know and ask for some more diff fluid!

Very few products I have come across fit without any issues, being it's a cast peice you may need to hit it with a file for a perfect fit. Take an afternoon, pull the old on off, and try the new one. Have a file or angle grinder handy and make it fit. It should go on with out the work, but I like a perfect fit when possible.
