I know this has been addressed, on a whim wanting headers and to clean up the engine bay, also the fact I live in a non-emission state. I bought these 89510. I then read that there may be repercussions to non-emission headers, I would remove the cat and go straight pipe to the muffler and stay with single exhaust. This is a 93 F350 7.5L I really do not want to effect reliability this is a good running truck. The reason I bought these is the manifold to y-pipe on passengers side has a slight leak and didn't want to burn a valve possibly. The air pump is starting to squeal. The truck has 121k miles and would like to put another 50k on it before reworking it. Does the emissions really matter to efficiency/longevity? If they do I can eat the cost of the headers and just fix whats there. I don't really want to but another set of headers and fix whats there if that makes sense. Just would like some good input and real experience. Thanks
