Just curious if everyone’s order date is reflected accurately in COTUS. My order date is two and a half months after I actually ordered the truck. Wondering if the dealer took that long to enter the order or if COTUS is hosed.
Mine was. The dealer placed the order the day I signed off on the order and that's the date it showed in COTUS.
The only quirks I had with COTUS were; 1) The estimated delivery date showed up a few days after my truck showed up in COTUS, but then disappeared and didn't show up again until after the truck had been built. The initial date was accurate, though. 2) Sometimes COTUS would show me a white Ford Explorer as my vehicle even when using my VIN or the order number/dealer code. 3) COTUS would frequently tell me no such vehicle/order exists. Once my truck was scheduled for production, all of the quirks went away. I was more amused than disturbed by any of this.
I’m starting to think they messed up the order the first time. The order date in COTUS just happens to be the day I went in and complained that it had been two and a half months and we still didn’t have a build date. Coincidence? Anybody else who ordered in November still waiting on a truck?
I originally placed my order on 11/09/17 and then finalized the order 11/30/17 with the dealer. It showed up in COTUS a few days later once the truck was scheduled with the original 11/09 order date. Your dealer must not have put it into the system when you placed the order.
The date of the DORA, Vehicle order confirmation sheet printout that the dealer gets when they place the order is the date the shows up in Cotus from what i have seen. it sounds like the dealer never entered it in Nov.
