Rockledge, Mfp4073,
Thank you for replies.
What I am hoping for is that things I will need is nothing more than manifolds. But hell. I really don't know what to expect.

I went to pull a part close to where I live and found I found at least half a dozen rangers. I know it's taking a chance because you cannot run them in their yards. The 2 that I found that I believe are still running engines are in totaled trucks. Down side is they are wrecked in the front. So I really won't be able to tell a whole lot untill I get the rad support cut out.
Thanks a million again for the replies. They are greatly appreciated

No problem, after you get that engine swap all worked out it will then be your job to tell the new folks that ask since you will be the expert!

something to be weary of with front end impacts is that the water pump and crank can be damaged. Also make sure that there are no broken threaded holes where the accessories mount that have been broken out of the block. Ive seen stuff like that trash a perfectly good engine because you cannot mount the alternator anymore.

Thank you mfp4073.
I will definitely look over real good. Everything I have read advise to look for a wrecked one. Which makes sense and good advice. It was driving till the impact. The two trucks I found wrecked are front left impact, and I will not be able to see in their untill I open it up. Will be taking saws all to the rad support first to check them out before I put to much work in it.
I am hoping the first one will be a keeper.
Definitely will keep posting. Although it maybe a little while.
Thanks again
