leaking something

My 95 psd is leaking something from where the ujoint on the passenger side front wheel meets the axle. What is it?

Have you touched it to see if it is oil. It might be axle oil or grease from a ball joint.

I would suspect it is gear lube. Your axle tube seal is leaking. Does the fluid feel like oil and have a funny odor to it? If so it is gear lube.

It has a funny odor almost like brake fluid, but doesnt really feel like oil.
