Dirt bike ramp ona lifted 250

Best just to haul it on a trailer, bad things will eventually happen if you try to load it with a ramp. If you insist on hauling it in the truck bed then make sure to put your helmet and chest protector on BEFORE you load or unload
You can buy a hitch mounted bike tray but even those are a pain with a lift that size

I miss my dirt bike, best years of my life! lol. A lot of ramps have some type of rubber grips, or sit into secure spots on the tailgate, so they don't slip off when the bike runs up it. With my old KX125, I think I remember lifting the front wheel and spinning it around, instead of walking it backwards down the ramp to unload. With the 8" lift, most ramps might be to short or steep, but I bet there's something out there that extends, or works for that height. People make their own ramps out of plywood and stuff too. Here's a link I just found to a nice extra wide ATV ramp. Or if You can find a small hill or something, back the truck up to it? My 125 was light enough, that I could lift it up by myself, almost to waist height. That 450 must be heavier to toss around.

You definitely do not need a trailer, make 2- 2 piece ramps to get you about 12' long and you can walk next to it and clutch it up and walk it down. Its not hard at all. I have a stock height F350 and lift the bike in myself, no ramps. Search youtube for "how to load a dirtbike yourself". My ramp for my street bike is actually an old Uhaul aluminum ramp that my father acquired and is about 12' long and 3' wide. Makes loading a breeze since you can ride the bike right up.
That 450 is a hell of a first bike to be learning on, I have one myself and its a beast.

I would go buy a nice little 4x8 trailer with at least 16" sides from home depot lowes or a trailer store. First problem will be finding a ramp long enough for the height of your truck, if u figure out that problem then youll run into trying to push that 450 up a steep a$$ ramp, driving up will be ok if u have good balance BUT youll need some speed....if the trucks a shortbed you might run right into the cab and go flying over the roof! My 2004 f350 is only leveled out and i have a folding 7' arched aluminum ramp...pushing or riding my bikes up is no problem, walking them down in a straight PAIN!!! Im 6' tall and stepping on a five gallon bucket holding the front brake levers i still stretch trying to do so, never dropped my 450 or 400 yet but got a little pucker factor once or twice over the years

Not as tall as you with the lift but taller than a pickup bed normally is. I use a 9 or 10 foot 2x6 along with stepstool that doubles as a bike stand. Most of the time I do not use the hitch carrier. Also depending where you park makes a big difference. At home I back up to a hill to load and it makes it much easier. When unloading you can put the bike in gear and pull the clutch in. If you need to stop just let the clutch and pull the front brake now both wheels will keep it on the ramp. just push it up and down no reason to start the bike.
These make excellent bike stands. Stack together for storing them when not needed too. 300 pound capacity and made in USA
A friend has this and looks nice. His truck is not lifted though. revarc is the name

Black Widow ramp without question. At least 9' and you'll be fine.
Granted, my truck isn't lifted but I load my 600+ pound GSA (tall seat height close to your CRF) into the truck all the time. Most of the time I just ride it up but can clutch it up walking next to it with no issues either. Unloading it by myself is cake also.
Unless you want a trailer, there's no reason to get one. I have a Kendon folding trailer but use the ramps 99% of the time because the trailer can be a PITA to load, makes parking a pain, gets worse mileage, yada yada yada.
