The creeping brown blob is expanding on the auto dimming rear view mirror of my 2000 EX. I've located the OEM replacement, but I need neither the home link nor the auto dim feature. Does anyone have suggestions on a clean install for a simple, nice rear view mirror replacement? Thanks in advance!
Thank you gentlemen. I think I'm going to seek out one of those "wide angle" clip on mirrors and just leave well enough alone. I have "privacy" tint now and am not worried about auto dim, etc. Have any of you guys gotten a clip on type mirror to fit over the thick stock mirror housing? If so, let me know. I'm looking online and there are myriad options of course.

I'm not sure about the excursion mirrors but that is what I had in my 250 and now my 450 and I really like them .

I have a clip on wide angle mirror on mine. Works just fine. The only think I was specific in looking at was glass surface and not the reflective metal types.
