351 part exchanging

351 part exchanging

I've got a whole load of 302 and 351 Windsor engine parts and I'm curious if they'll fit on a 351m because I've found one for sale that runs good only id like to put my intake and carb on it as well as swap it to my point ignition and I also bought a nice exhaust I want to make sure will fit, thanks for any help

Very few parts interchange between 351M & 302/351W

Block, heads and internal parts different, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, distributor different. Carb may be similar.

302 and 351 Windsor parts do not interchange with 351m/400's.

You have it backwards. High flow, canted valve Cleveland heads on a Windsor block can be sweeeet! Choke ***, straight valve Windsor heads on a Cleveland is going backwards.
