DIY Clear 3M Bra?

DIY Clear 3M Bra?
Anyone do a clear 3M covering on front edge of hood? Took a good ding from rock on my F150 in first few months. Considering a little protection on the 250 to maybe prevent this from happening.

I did DIY ClearBra on my prior truck. I ordered a pre-cut set that fit correctly. However, my install skills weren't so good. A flat surface is easy. Add curves and odd things to work around and I couldn't get it right. The hood on the Superduty could be challenging. You either have to have the Superduty letters cut out of the ClearBra or you have to work the material into the depressed letters. I chose to have someone do it for me. My ClearBra guy worked the material into the letters and I think that looks better than cutting around the letters.

I had considered suggesting inserts. But I don't know if there will be more work trying to eliminate gaps with the ClearBra or not. The inserts might make the whole job easier. Let us know how it turns out.
