I’m looking at the following kit for my wife’s 2017 Expedition xltm but before I order would like some feedback from others who have done something better than the stock headlights. Would you go with a full hid kit or just swap bulbs to something like Phillips crystal vision, etc?
Also, I see this kit is offered for both projector or non projector headlights. I’m not looking at the vehicle right now, but the Expedition comes with non-projector, correct?
Have no problem seeing at night, the fog lights are led and I would just like for the headlights to match color wise as well. Just want to do it correctly as to not cause other drivers a problem.
Some people such as my son and I are sensitive to different light colors during night driving. Coming from your own car even makes it worse as it is constant. I have read all the threads on this and the EXPY site and just did not want to go through all the changes and worry about how the instrumentation would handle it. So I opted for a KISS solution and went to the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlights. The color is 4800 which is close to the LED. It is acceptable to me at night as very similar. It definitely is brighter at night than standard, better light close to LED color, and was a simple fix-> Kept It Simple.
