well i did it. Thanks for all the tips and advice on the other thread!
2000 7.3 limited in the drive now! It already has a lot of mods complete. Engine fluid and usual basic maintenance im handling with the tech thread. I have some other questions on where to go from here.
1. Need a passender seat. It is not power like the driver. Is there a harness right there to add power or do i need to slice and dice? I dont want to do that right now. No time. What direct bolt seat is the most comfortable or a nice upgrade i can find at the gold mine? If i can get it power real easy i would do it.
2, touch up paint. What is the best stuff for little chips? Something that could be handled with a nail polish brush not a spray can? It is deep Wedgewood blue and the trim is that brown. Dont know the name.
3. Need a passenger mirror. I was looking and see the threads where you can run power to the mirrors and get them to blink and all that. I want to get the upgrade look, and will wire it later on, but want to hook it up power adjustment and have it fit now. Then when i have a weekend i will pull them off and look at wiring later. What is it i want?
4. For some reason when the hazards are on the rear does not flash?? Any ideas?
5. ABS light is on. Last owner did grease through the abs does this happen?
At least you bought the most awesome color Excursion! I used this touch-up paint. Match was dead on and easy to use: Dupli-Color AFM0359 Deep Wedgewood Blue Ford, $12.66 Amazon. I never tried to touch up the trim so don’t know about that.
I have my 2000 interior apart at the moment. There are no wires under the passenger seat, so if you want power you'll need to do some work. Might be able to just run a jumper over from the driver side, I think it's just a power feed to the seat. Mine is an XLT, so perhaps that does not apply for your limited.
As to the tow mirrors, mine from 1aAuto came with an adapter plug for the power and heat functions. Had to wire in the turn signals.
Check fuses for the non blinking lights.
Check wheel sensors are attached properly for the ABS. Those wheel sensor harnesses will go bad too.
I have found many of the F250s at the salvage yard have the power for the passenger seat tapped off the driver side wires right under the driver seat. There are a couple of recent threads on this topic of installing a power passenger seat, actually. I had heated seats in my '01, so I just repurposed that circuit for a power seat and deleted the heated seat.
Hazard lamps. Check the bulbs first. I wouldn't discount someone putting some 56 bulbs in there instead of 57s. If you have the right bulbs, then it is likely the relay (if both lights are out).
We will look at the ABS system when you get here tomorrow. Shouldn't be hard to find the problem once I hook it up to the computer.

Lol yeah we got handled and the mirrors, waterpump, degas botttle, various hoses and wires, 2 front bearings, brake caliper and lines, i think i forgot something too....😁
thanks again nicmike! No way all that was handled without you (especially at 3 am). Ive got those last few parts on order and now trying to get cash together for the torque convertor, fuel tank and 3rd row seat....
