I just got the 2.5” weighsafe without the scales. I have a 250, so it’s not the 3”. 6” drop was perfect for my 2 trailers. I bought a cheap harbor freight case and storing my factory gooseneck stuff all together when not in use.
You’d have to measure it as it’s hard to tell measurements from a pic. If it’s not an hd tow pkg. equipped 250, it is a 2.5” though unless Ford installed the wrong hitch on your truck. Also note that the 3” receiver comes with two adapter sleeves and you only have one in your pic.
Here’s the receiver on my new F-250. If I take that sleeve out, isn’t that 3” I’m left with??
Unless you're missing a reducer that's a 2.5". My 250 has the HD Tow Package with the 3" receiver and it came with two reducers. One to go to 2.5" and another to reduce that down to 2".
Weigh Safe with or without the scale is an awesome hitch. We get an FTE discount here. https://www.trunkmonkeyparts.com/weighsafe Coupon code FTE gets us 10% off and free shipping.
Code no longer works.... tried it today and I got this message when using it @ checkout [- Entered promo code is expired, cannot be used with your order or is invalid]
I just shot them a message to see what's up. The last I heard when I was ordering a second Weigh Safe hitch for my wife's SUV a month ago was that the code would be good indefinitely. I'll post up as soon as I hear back from them. Probably just an oversight letting it expire on their end...
Gen-Y 3" Solid Shank - 3500 tongue and 32K gross capacity. I would never use a B&W adjustable hauling a heavy load after my experience, only my four wheeler trailer.

I just heard back from Trunk Monkey. The FTE code is now active again until the end of the year. Apparently, there was a random expiration date applied to it in their system and they just needed to reset it. They wanted me to thank you for bringing it to their attention...

Good news... Thank you for the follow through today.

That reducer appears to have a flange around the edge so it won’t slip into the hitch. My 3”-2.5” looks exactly like that, then I have a 2.5”-2” with no flange. I think you’re missing a reducer.

Can you elaborate on your bad experience using a B&W adjustable hitch?
Sorry F N G question for you guys and sorry to OP not trying to hijack the thread. I just measured my hitch and it's 2.5". Is this possible for a 17 350 6.7? I am measuring the inside diameter of the hitch and am only able to find one adapter sleeve that was given to me.
