Looking to figure what is the highest quality bedside that will be as close to an exact copy of the original as possible. I've found that even LMC truck does not have an extremely close replica. I'm a perfectionist and want it to be not so flimsey and the same as the original or as close as possible. Any tips appreciated

1979, but what series is it? Is it a long or short bed, Styleside or Flareside?
I'll give you the Ford part numbers, then see if anyone has any NOS .. But one additional question: Does the truck have two fuel doors or only one?
Just one square fuel door. I wanted to get bedsides as I had no intentions of getting pissed sanding off good body lines as I tryed to get rid of damn bondo lines. The bed is actually a short bed but I'm looking for long bed pannels I can cut with a plasma cuter and make it short. I've got a lot of figuring out before that though. As of right now I'd like to get the long bed pannels that are close to OEM
Several years ago, several of these R & L short bed quarter panels were available NOS .. But not now.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any. But now...at least...you have the part numbers, so if you do find any NOS you can verify what they fit.
They do have a good reputation, but I don't know how well deserved it is. I definitely use them for weather stripping, but the door skins I got from them were something like 24 gauge. I also got some inner lower door sections that had to be cut in quarters and welded back together in order to fit.
I just purchased metal for 77 f250. almost the whole bed. may have to before its all said and done. Read a post from a while ago from Bud Mud (search the name) pretty good info. He says he uses Sherman body panels. claims never had a problem with fit, and has done I believe about 20 dent sides. That is why I went with them. Also ordered through Summit racing because they are about 30 40 minutes from me. Would hate to have to pay that shipping, oversize, truck freight, and whatever else they can throw at you. He also said NPD was pretty good

I did call them about that, really stinks they are discontinued. Would be a lot easier than cutting down long bedsides

Since you have some bedsides right now can you take a look and see how well they match up with originals. As far as body lines go as well as thickness. Also I've noticed some pannels lack the defined indentation body line over the bed's fender. That would really help me out if you could take a look at it compared to the originals even if they are rusted out.
I used NPD for my bedsides. The body lines are clean and crisp and the gauge is original thickness.
Well I may go with NPD. I'm picky about lines and also having it as close as possible to the original. Compared to the original the bottom of the bedside runs the same and all? They look really good of course not 100% the same I'd guess. The only part that bothers me in aftermarket besides is the loss of the line in the green circle that goes around the wheel well. And the one body line fading in too much that runs along the bottom.
