ACC Position on ignition?

Wondering if there is a way to have my radio on while working on my truck without the truck going ding ding ding forever on end? I'd like to leave the doors open while listening (jamming) to some tunes. 😄

Flip the striker latch in the door closed? I think that's how I did it one time.

I do that all the time. Just don't forget to open the latch before attempting to close the door. THUNK!

A while back on one of these forums I told a guy how to add a switch to his door that interrupted the door ajar signal line and he posted pictures of how it turned out. Been a while....

I don't get it why Ford doesn't put ACC position on the column? Doesn't everyone want to listen to their radio once in a while while the engine is off?

Have you tried just pushing the power button on the radio with the key off and out of the ignition most newer fords will turn the radio on for 20-30 min at a time this way.
