Well, I've had enough fun for one day, and since all the bosses are gone, I'm sneaking out of here early. Have a good night, I'll catch you guys in the morning!
Hi John.
Been working on getting the car trailer ready for inspection. That is packing the bearings, checking the brakes and of course doing some painting.....
Morning Nebraska.
John, as Shawn mentioned yearly inspection on trailers with brakes or gross weight of 3000 pounds or higher (above 3000 pounds have to have brakes) I have VA permanent plates so I don't have to register the trailers every year. I keep a log book of miles and dates used and expenses on the car trailer. Basically pack the bearings and check the brakes , also paint touch-up to make it look pretty.
Also have a smaller trailer, with VA plate that is under 3000 pounds so don't have to get it inspected yearly.
Morning 'braska..... I don't expect to "see" Pat in here today.... exercising his SLACKER abilities.
And, as usual Bud, youre wrong.......
Good morning guys, happy Friday! Just finished the paper, getting ready to run some errands, maybe do a little yard work later today, looks to be a nice day!
VA its yearly... id assume with NY if they have inspections there its about the same.
I'm not sure of the regulations up here but imagine about the same, I see many being pulled over on the highways here now by the department of transport. I've never owned a big trailer..
