Question 51 f1

New guy here: Need some help. Bought a 51 f1 with nothing inside drivers door except vent window frame, latch mechanism and window reg..Bought all new parts;glass, rubber for vent, lift channel, division bar, door glass run,etc.. What is the correct,or easiest sequence, to get everything back in the door. Tried putting complete vent window in,then division bar, then door glass run but that did not work.At a loss, any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

get familiar with search tools. almost every question you will come up with has been answered here. but in the meantime, here is the assembly order that i found most folks here use.

install vent window
side fuzzies
install rear window channel
drop regulator into door
loosely fit division bar
put glass into bottom of door cavity
roll down regulator
slide window into rear channel and lift up
pull in divider bar and put in a screw to hold top
bolt in bottom of divider
slide window down and attach to regulator

Should the door latch assembly be the first item to get installed into the door?

LOL! Maybe a much younger person can help you. I have to get my daughter or my wife to show me how to use my phone and my computer.

not sure. I was focused on window stuff. I think the latch can go in either before or after as I recall replacing latches without taking out the windows,
