Stalling
Well color me confused!!! My truck started surging while I'm driving (set cruise to 65) truck will slow to 64 then back up to 65 rock me to sleep its that gentle. Does the same thing with cruise off (rock me to sleep) well I thought I'd pull the air filter for ha ha's and the truck stalls. I replace the filter and it runs although it surges. No check engine light. I didn't think pulling the air filter would have such an effect. What does the wise ones say?

vacuum leak... hose . gasket,,,,,, idle air control valve...
E.P.A... means idle is very lean.. and a vacuum leak.. causes many issues..
same with small throttle openings... like cruising.

Thanks for that there was nothing in my repair manual that even came close to EPA as far as parts names.
