I spoke to the guy trying to put the order in and he says that he cannot find the box to click. I am sure it exits as it is in all the loading table literature and also an option on the web build page. Anyone know what to tell the order guy, he is trying to figure it out?

Sorry your PM box is maxed out. I've read a few things but have seen some conflicting info regarding the 11500 vs 11400 for CA vehicles and derating them the 100 pounds.

Do we need CA motor carrier permit stickers on the side of a F350?

Is there a registration price difference between the two each year?

So just out of Curiosity. Why would you want to derate a F350 100 lbs?
I assume it's for insurance or licensing.

My state doesn't really care. Annual Licensing is based on the trucks value

Read starting at post #21 (especially post #24) of this thread. Sounds like as long as non-commercial use, one is good even with 11,500 (and above).

thanks for all the responses, I think i will stick with the 11400 just to stay out of all the legal verbiage around this issue.
