T case hitting cab while hitting bumps

On 96 f250 when ever I have a hard shift or hit big bumps I feel my t case hitting the cab and I can see where it’s been hitting. The trucks a extra cab. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Sounds like the transmission mount is bad and your whole driveline is flopping all over the place, which seems to me like it would be a lot devastating than that, and your driveshaft would have certainly let you know it's dealing with some unusual torque.

I'm looking at mine right now and it's solid, doesn't move no matter how hard I push on it.

I'm assuming you have a married transfer case that sits directly behind your transmission.

Yep I tried to pry on it but she wouldn’t move even with a oil leak dripping on it

I'm assuming your mount is okay then.

How are the cab mounts? Could be sagging a little bit, but that just seems like excessive play for it to be moving around like that.

I looked at my cab mounts and they look to be fine no big cracks. Idk if there’s a spec on how much there supposed to be squished

What about the motor mounts? What about the transmission mount cross piece that runs between the frame halves?

What engine and transmission do you have?

Either bad transmission mount or bad cab mounts. Really no other possible way unless your cab is rotten and sagging.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Just seeing if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it

I used the Energy Suspension Kit on my truck. I'm satisfied with it.

It's polyurethane, but personally I don't think it feels any harsher than rubber.
