Tonneau Covers
While at a recent car show another truck owner wanted me to look at his truck. Specifically his tonneau cover.
It was a nice design fit well and also lifts. No drilling needed. However the owner did drill his corners making it a permanent cover. Look at this website, let me know what you think.

As a cabinetmaker, I'm not a fan of the lift up covers. Would be in my way more often than not. Mine rolls up.
I think most soft covers don't need any drilling. Still, looks decent. About what I paid for mine.

Good comment AZSCAWPION, I think good and bad comments would help with people trying to decide on the correct cover. Pros and cons are a must. I have no affiliation to this company, I did see the cover on a 56 Ford F100 and it looked nice, fit well and could be removed easily.
As for me, I wouldn't put one on my truck, while they do look nice and add a sense of security, (It does lock) I need to use my truck as a truck.

The only issue I've had with any of the soft covers are due to the sun here in AZ. Over time it rots the stitching. Fortunately, a buddy of mine is an upholsterer and never complains when they need a restitch. For me, it's not about security, rather just a way to keep everything protected from the weather. If security is important, these covers are useless (locking or not). Fortunately, where I am, you could park the truck with a brand new flat screen tv in the back, uncovered and no one would give it a second glance.

It looks like it doesn't cover the bed rail very much. Hard to believe it would seal very well to keep the rain out, plus the stake pockets aren't covered. I've always had roll up covers on my trucks so I don't need to take them off at home before going to haul something big.

I have a fully electrical hard cover that rolls up into its own box at the head of the bed. The rails that the cover rides on have a very unique mounting system so NO drilling except for two drain holes in bed bottom. Drain lines are installed from the box to the bed bottom.
If anyone is interested, I can look up the web site and post it, but I'd bet you could do the same thing.

Here is the web site for Pace Edwards. If your truck is not listed, just give them the measurements and they will have one or make one. Most likely they will have one that fits.
They have the smooth top rail and the contractors rail where you can put their rack system on it.

Can anyone tell me where I could purchase a roll up style tonneau cover for a 1966 Ford F100? I just purchased and got the truck home. I also like the convenience of putting something back there (lawn chair, cooler,etc) without the fear of someone snagging it while I go into the gas station to grab a drink or something.

You can literally find them everywhere online. I got mine from Amazon. The catch though (and I went through this when I was searching) is that if you limit your search to 1966, you'll find hardly anything. For whatever reason nobody lists anything for the older trucks. They're real eager to make one "custom" though. Well guess what? The newer trucks have the same size bed. Spent a day in the pick and pull measuring various beds and the only thing that varies is the profile of the top edge. Long story short, try searching for a '73 cover. Unless it's a flare side, there's no difference.

So, I guess my long winded response could be whittled down to- "Sorry, don't know where you can get a cover for your truck"

I have a very nice fiberglass hard cover, painted to match for my daily driver('12 F250) It was on it when I bought it. It looks great but just about makes the bed useless. It is easily removable but weighs a ton. I can lock it shut, which is handy. If I had no cover, I'd either leave it that way, or buy a roll up. You want looks or functionality...that's what it comes down to.
