The noise you’re hearing is the pressure relief valve built into the power steering system opening at lock to allow the fluid to bypass the steering gear and return to the reservoir. If it wasn’t there the pump would be dead ended and the fluid would overheat and boil inside the pump. Normal sound when you hold the steering wheel hard to either side. Back off the steering a small amount and it will stop.
