agh...losing power steering fluid!
OK this is weird. Today I drove about 80 miles to my mom's house and my truck was fine.
After I left there I drove out to my brother's. I noticed that about halfway there, the steering seemed to be making more noise than usual, and when I got into his driveway it was REALLY noticeable.
I checked the power steering fluid level and it was low. I topped it off with some fluid I found out there, and took off back toward home.
I didn't even make it the 35 miles back home before it started making noise AGAIN, and it sounded really awful by the time I pulled in my driveway.
Ugh. I haven't looked at it yet, but are there any common problem areas I should check? I sure hope it's not too tough to fix.
