Does the 4x4 light stay on when you switch to 2wd? If it has the Vacuum hubs you can just put them in auto and pull one of the vacuum lines so you can drive it in 2wd to get somewhere.
This happened to me a few days ago. I got stuck in 4 low.
Heres how I got it back out.
Start the truck and put it in neutral and then place switch in 2 wheel drive.
Obviously you want your foot on the brakes.
