Leaf spring problems

I have a 2003 Ford F-350 cab and chassis - 12' flat bed - with big camper. I noticed passenger side was low by 1 1/2". Started investigating and removed spring bolt in order to take off top overload spring. When I let the spring pack come loose by removing the center spring bolt, I noticed that the top four leafs are bent in the middle in the reverse direction 1/4" over 18". I assume this is not correct. Can anybody verify this????? The reason I took the top auxilliary leaf out was to install air bags.

Do you have a lot of miles on the truck? Factory springs? Tow heavy?

The super duty trucks for some reason (supposibly because the fuel tank is on the drivers side, adds extra weight and makes the spring fatigue faster over time) sag on the drivers side. Ford knows this and has a shim kit available in different heights depending on the amount of sag you have
