I just bought a set of 20” factory wheels for my 17’ lariat to replace the 18” wheels that came with it. Stock size is 275/70/18 which is 33.2” diameter. I see the factory size for 20” is 275/65/20 which is 34.1”. The Speedo would be off a few mph at 60. Has anyone ever run 285/60/20’s which are at 33.5” which is closer to stock diameter? I’m leaning towards the AT3’s and they offer the 285/60/20. Truck has a 2.5” ready lift kit on it and it’s high enough allready. I didn’t want to raise it much more with the 20” wheels.
I'm not concerned with going from 33.2 to 33.5. That's why I was thinking of going to with the 285/60/20 as the diameter is almost identical to the 275/70/18. I was concerned with using the factory tire size of 275/65/20 which is 34.21". I was just curious if anyone else went with a 285/60/20 as it is closest diameter to the stock 18's I have now.
