10000# is a GVWR de-rating package for states that register based on weight. 11500# should be the "standard" 350 SRW GVWR.

Pre-2017 (last time I really looked), the commercial order guides had more details about packages like the 10000# GVWR derate for F350 SRW, the fact that 17" wheels caused a RGAWR derating on F350 SRWs, and a couple other quirks.

Thanks for all the input everyone, I honestly thought I'd have more to play with but my current set-up works just fine for what I need it for, hauling a 6000#(max weight) TT and tossing my brute Force in the back....I just thought I'd have a little more wiggle room. I've made several trips up camping with no issues...

even though the numbers suggest that it is only capable of that gvw, it is perfectly safe even above that number. There is very little difference between the 250 and 350. You just have a lower gvw on paper, not really any less safe than an f350. Slightly different spring rates and a smaller block under the rear springs

If an F-250 has the highest-rated springs (i.e. camper special) and the owner adds the F-350 blocks in the rear, then in my book it has the capacity of an F-350 "as equipped."

Still need to go through the worksheet to establish and confirm that capacity, but the blocks have an affect on alignment (as this changes the load effect on alignment) which relates to safety and I have no issues from a reliability (warranty) standpoint as this was purchasable configuration.

Of course, IANAL nor am I a Ford engineer. But it seems reasonable.
