Have had both in various rigs. The more expensive Husky models are my favorite so far. They do cover the lighted sill but I didn’t buy the pickup to enjoy sill lighting... Those mats will mold sooner or later though.
I have the same issue with the weathertech rear mat. The main problem is that they slide around due to the smooth bottom. They need to have the teeth on them to keep them in place. I also think they are a hair to wide and hit the under seat storage base and it keeps them from laying flat. I bought mine in summer and they didn't settle. Winter came and it got worse.
Weathertechs here as well. They formed to my truck after about a week and look nice. Only issue I have is the driver side not staying secured by the floor pegs anymore. It holds it spot for the most part but will move slightly from time to time. Nothing major , factory mats had play in them as well. Overall happy with them.
I’ve posted this before, but I hate my Weathertechs. They fit a little worse than yours. Had them for a year. They don’t get better. Tried turning them inside out overnight and that helped for about a day. I’m going with Ford next time, even if they don’t cover as well.
I got the truck with the factory set. They were ok from the better than nothing department, but did not cover the sill/carpet line, so I opted to get the husky xact from autoanything at a nice discount. Had weathertech in my Silverado, my first experience with fitted liners. They were ok, but wanted to try the huskys . They fit tightly right out of the box. and cover the sill/carper seam nicely . Liked them so much, subsequently ordered a set for my wife's explorer....
Those are the rear, right? I don't like mine either, the fronts are good, but the back ones slide too much, i reckon on that plastic piece that lays on the floor that makes the box under the seat. I'm constantly readjusting them to keep my carpet clean. The ones in my husband's f150 cover the whole floor, so no sliding. I may try the Huskys eventually.
Usually some heat helps them fit better. I have WT's in my Subaru and they happen to be a perfect fit. Maybe you got a bad batch. I do like the HL a bit better and went with the Weather Beaters for my XL.
I've had Husky's, WeatherTech, and Michelin EdgeLiner Floor Liners and like the Michelin the best. More of a rubber and less of a plastic feel.
Husky comes in second and I would never have WeatherTech again. WeatherTech are very plastic, fit poorly, and become stiff and slippery as they age. I hate those. WeatherTech has a great advertising campaign though.
I put a set of Weathertechs in my truck just last week. So far they are great. We'll see how they hold up. No experience with the Huskys. I probably would have bought Huskys based on reviews I read here but I know the family that owns Weathertech.

Michelin's website doesn't list superduties as an option. At least not for 2018.
