Arthur, Fergus & Stratford were named in the report on the damage done by mother nature's little hissy fit today.
Does anybody know how much damage was done in & around Arthur (fairgrounds)?
AL.
Stratford is where they have reports of a tornado touching down. Fergus & Arthur has reports of roofs being torn off along with trees, hydro lines down & so on.
680 NEWS is where I heard this.

P.S....No burn-outs on the grass!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was up to the show in Arthur this weekend and needed to pass through Fergus to get there. Just outside of town on hwy 6 there was some significant carnage to 3 houses near the highway. 1 of then in particular was quite bad. The roof was totally gone, not just the sheeting I mean the trusses and everything. What looked like a traditional old barn out back (with stone footings) was flatened, 1 of those canvas barns was a pretzel as well. There was debris for atleast 1 KM in the woods down the road. Stuff like roofing tin, squares bales, personal effects, even the cars were turned over. A sad mess. To top it off it rained on Saturday.
I'm sure some of the other fella's will post with what they saw. I know some of them passed through there shortly after it happened on Friday night.
I saw the same thing Jeff saw, except a little more had been cleaned up by the time I went through Sunday afternoon. Just incredible the amount of damage. My buddy pointed out that the house with the roof missing, probably all their possessions got sucked out of the main floor too.
