I ran my positive and ground over to the passenger side taillight and spliced them in there, but wasn't getting good ground from the ground wire on the harness, so I ran that back down and grounded to the frame. Really fast install though.
Anyone know the part # for the blank that gets removed to install this? I’d like to reuse my LED light strip on my new truck and misplaced the plastic blank that’s there on the SRW truck from the factory. Thanks.

I can look at mine tonight to see if there is a part number. I could ship you mine for $20 + shipping if you were interested.

The part number of the blank taken off my 2018 SRW F350 is HC3B-99403B22-A.
Don't dink around with crap that may not fit. Here's what you need. These were ordered from TASCA 4/17:
HC3Z-13A613-BLamp Assembly - Side Marker $54.68
8U2Z-14S411-AACWire Assembly $14.67
Power for the LEDs was tapped from a license plate light. Ground in my case, was to the FRAME, not the aluminum box. If there is a factory ground point back there, use it. I didn't really look and just made my own.
