I'm not sure of the proper name, but I like the red rear marker running lights that are on the F350 dually trucks. I have a 2002 F350 single wheel 7.3 and have the factory pattern for this type of light. Just wondering is this a hard install or should I have the dealer do it?
its a piece of cake i just did it a few days ago. give me a few minutes and i will post the site i got my lights from. they have a 16" bolt center(matches the factory holes perfect) i just grounded the one wire and taped the other into the trailer plug park lights.you do have to drill a hole for the wires to go through
Yea, it's pretty easy to install the red cluster on the back of the truck. I'm assuming you found the holes right under the tailgate where you can mount the lights. I got my cluster from the local farm and fleet store, they bolted right on, and like wlihntr did, I just tapped into the wiring harness under the back for the trailer, and presto, you're a big rig!
Yea I made my own light bar with 3 clear lens, red 12 diode Maximma LED's and they are BRIGHT! Definitely can't miss 'em, plus I already had LED's in the front and couldn't stand to slap regular bulbs on the back.

I used the clear len Maximma in amber on my running board. With the lights off you can't even tell they are there.
