I found it.. total after shipping is $122 will a 26 row be good enough
found this from Mark Kovalsky in a post in 2016 and he knows!!!
2003 and 2004 had a 31 row trans cooler. 2005-2010 had a 26 row cooler. The smaller cooler has internal changes that make it more efficient. We measured the same cooling with both sizes.
I have the 26-row. Less surface area and more efficient for basically the same cooling as AllaboutMPG said. This leaves more airflow for the rest of the coolers use.
Thanks guys. I ordered the 26 for $108 shipped and should be here in a week.. I’m not going to put it in the original coolers place instead I’m going to put it in front of the ac condenser so it get max air flow... when I install it does it have to go through the radiator or can I just be the transmission cooler itself
I'm not sure what year they started the radiator cooler too but if you have it you should use it.
The 6.0 cooler is much better than the stock one so placement is not a concern. I would recommend putting it in the stock location as air flow/cooling is not an issue. You are already going to have to do some custom lines and routing to use the new cooler. There's no need to add custom mounting to the install also.
Don't forget that the lower mounting tabs are going to have slots instead of holes. I used some fender washers to provide enough surface area for the mounting bolt and a secure mount. Just my .02

Why in the world would you want to bypass the cooling from the radiator? You're upgrading to a more efficient trans cooler, but now you want to remove an important link in the trans fluid cooling?

in a prior post someone said it may or may not be going through the rad..
