What is this light
Can not find out what this light is for. The small yellow light below the temp gauge. This is on a 1999 Lincoln Navigator.

Does it go out when the dash lights are turned off? It looks like a hole where a peg would be for the gauge needle to rest on when the truck is of. I think the peg fell out and you're seeing the backlight.

I looked close with a flash light. The peg is gone. Looks like something to get next time a wrecking yard.

It's got to be laying around in there somewhere. Take the cluster out and tip it around and you should hear the pin rattling around.
