Generator belt
Just had to replace my generator on my '51 F1, and for the sake of me cannot get the old belt back on. Can't find in my shop manual the size needed, and I'm beginning to think the one I took off is too small. Hoping someone will post the right size belt. The generator was almost at the max height when removing the belt which I think is what toasted the old generator.

They are a tight fit. You may have to loosen the bolt (I assume this is a V8?) and allow the generator to **** until you get the belt in the groove. Otherwise just take the old belt into a NAPA store. They usually have a pretty good assortment of belt or can get you one the next size up.
