Can't imagine anyone is counterfeiting the factory wheels so it's most likely the real deal.
Stolen would be my concern with the TPMS sensors still inside.
But not everyone wants the sensors when they change wheels so who knows.
I see Platinum 20" take offs priced anywhere from $1200 to $1600 on craigslist locally, and they seem to be listed for a long time even at $1200.
$1000 is probably priced fair to sell in a reasonable time.
You didn't mention if yours is F250 or F350. Double-check the hub-centric measurements on those wheels to ensure they match your hubs. I don't have hands-on experience with the issue, but I've read elsewhere in this forum that there is a difference in hub-centric measurements among some F350 wheels.
Standard F250 has a smaller hole in the wheel for the smaller axle hub. These wheels wont fit a 250 with the hctp or a 350. The 350 or 250 hctp wheels will fit any of the 3. My truck is a standard F250 and has F350 take offs on it. That is my understanding of the 2 sized hub centers and their fitment. All have the same bolt pattern just got to watch the hub center size.

he says the came off a f250, how can I be sure they fit my 250?
The 250 with smaller rear axle has that rim the axle cover is built into rim. The bigger axel which is available on the 250 and come on all 350 has a cap that covers axle. The axle is wider so it needs a fatter cap. Hope this makes sense

Your absolute best bet is to take your truck and a jack with you and just throw one on the back before you buy to be sure. Does your truck have the High Capacity Tow Package? The HCTP puts a F350 rear end in he 250, in which those wheels arent going to work. Look at your window sticker or you can look and see if your truck has overloads. Also the center cap on them are deeper than a 250. Those wheels you are looking at are for a standard duty F250, that much we have figured out, just need to know what yours is.

Those wheels should work then. Doesnt hurt to throw one on before you throw the cash down just for piece of mind though. That is a pretty good deal for sure.
That does seem like a pretty good deal. If theft were a concern, they could be traced back to the truck by the tpms sensors. At least this was the case for a GT350 owner when his stolen wheels were found on ebay.
I’m under the impression that all the wheels are the same size no matter what axle you have. That price very good but not so low I would be worried about theft
