Forscan question
I bought a nuvision tablet and the obd mx scan tool. I got everything hooked up, backed up. I then successfully changed my tpms to match my tires. After, I tried to change my fog lights to stay on with the high beams. I get this error. “This adapter has CAN bus compatibility problems and can not be used in some functions.” Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

I got the exact same message while saving the factory data. I was successful at saving the first couple things, then I got this message. I didn't even try to change anything after that as everything wasn't backed up. I am using a modified elm 327 obd unit. I am thinking I may need to upgrade to the recommended obd unit? Hopefully someone will shed some light for us on this problem
