Extended Mirrors

I have a F450 XL with manual sliding mirrors for towing. The problem is that they only slide out about 1 1/2 inches. With my slide on camper installed I need at least 3 inches in order to clear the jacks mounted to the sides. I have tried a pair of suction cup mirrors and hate them. Suggestions?

Could always install some Dodge tow mirrors 😁 oh you said 3 inches, not 3 feet

Depending on how handy you are you could always hack up a pair of mirrors and extend them with square aluminum tubing.

I did consider extending them myself, but I was looking for a “bolt-on” resolution first. I also am considering fabricating a fiberglass housing which could be strapped on the existing mirror housing. This could be the best resolution!?

Even on my power extend mirrors I wish they had another inch of extension.

I use these. Picked up a couple of stick on convex that makes seemed to enhance them plenty enough to give me the visibility that I need. I put a smaller round convex on the Passenger side and was thinking I needed to get one of those for the drivers side as well. To be honest, I've decided I like that big rectangular stick on so it will stay. Super easy and a 1 second fix when we convert to hunting on narrow brushy high mountain roads.
