Stranded on Road, DPF Delete? Help!
I just have a question I'm hoping somebody can help me with. I'm stranded out of state on the side of the road because my DPF is completely plugged up. I removed it, but the truck is just dumping crazy amounts of fuel now because the DPF is removed and I'm assuming because it's not reading off the last EGT sensor and it thinks it's running cool and lean so it's adding fuel. Just to get home, is there a way to bypass that issue by disconnecting certain sensors so it stops thinking it's running lean? I just need to be able to limp it home in reduced power mode .
Any immediate assistance as far as a way to bypass this and trick the truck would be appreciated

get a kitchen trash can and put the DPF in it inlet side down. fill the trashcan with diesel fuel (not gas), let it sit for a few hours, lift the DPF up hours later, and alot of the junk will settle at the bottom of the trashcan. let it drip dry standing up. engine should start when you put it back on. might have to reset all the codes.

We have been in situations when we had no help except of calling these NYC 24-hour towing services for help. Facing situations like tire bursting, wiring issues.
It is really horrible to be alone in the car without having any help.
