Stranded on Road, DPF Delete? Help!

I just have a question I'm hoping somebody can help me with. I'm stranded out of state on the side of the road because my DPF is completely plugged up. I removed it, but the truck is just dumping crazy amounts of fuel now because the DPF is removed and I'm assuming because it's not reading off the last EGT sensor and it thinks it's running cool and lean so it's adding fuel. Just to get home, is there a way to bypass that issue by disconnecting certain sensors so it stops thinking it's running lean? I just need to be able to limp it home in reduced power mode .

Any immediate assistance as far as a way to bypass this and trick the truck would be appreciated

You need a tuner to accomplish a DPF Delete and turn off the re-generation. Do not operate the motor in that condition.

Copper is correct. You need a tune in order for it to run properly now. Where are you?

In Peru, IL. Guess I'm going to probably have to get it towed home to my shop.

Just in off my own road trip. You can reach up and unplug your aft egt sensor and while the trucks key off, try to restart it.

get a kitchen trash can and put the DPF in it inlet side down. fill the trashcan with diesel fuel (not gas), let it sit for a few hours, lift the DPF up hours later, and alot of the junk will settle at the bottom of the trashcan. let it drip dry standing up. engine should start when you put it back on. might have to reset all the codes.

I’ve heard of people having success with parts cleaner also.

We have been in situations when we had no help except of calling these NYC 24-hour towing services for help. Facing situations like tire bursting, wiring issues.
It is really horrible to be alone in the car without having any help.

Just to add to this thread most major engine suppliers like cummings and cat dealers even some major truck dealers like Peter built, Kenworth etc. have furnaces to clean dpf's for a reasonable fees.
