February 2018 Chat Thread

Another new month is here as we slowly inch our way towards spring. I talked CW into a 200 dollar gift card since they have been jacking me around. I probibly won't replace the shroud and just upgrade to newer AC's next year.

Yucky weather day so we went shopping and picked up a bunch of stuff for the motorhome. Towels, coffee pot, silverware, cookware and other assorted things. I also ordered the outside door handle. The new video control center should be in this week. Slowly getting everything we need.

I did nothing today. Tomorrow going to finish troubleshooting the tractor hyd. Build sides for the trailer. Clean out the truck. Mount a tool box to the truck. May try to get the trailer in the back yard. If I leave it where it at I have to fill the bucket on the tractor and haul it up front and dump it in the trailer

At least you made the short list.

productive day today. Got the side boards made and put on the trailer . Used the jeep to get the trailer in the backyard. Easier with Jeep. Open the mail found out somebody opened a Fingerhut account in my name (YEA) Started on the pile. Using the carpet we ripped out inside the side boards . Got one contractor bag full.

Got back on the tractor main pressure line was still loose, a connection hose on suction side both clamps loose, 2 fittings on a the distrubution block loose 2 fittings on the bucket control loose. Hyd back to working right.

I am going to mount an old top chest behind the transfer tank. Got a front cover made and a hasp put on it. Got most of it painted black. I mount it tommorow.

Finished and filed my taxes last night. The new video control center for the motorhome should be here today and hopefully the outside pull handle will arrive this week too. I ordered neck lanyards to keep our sign and sail cards in for the cruise. I also did the online check in and printed out all the documents.

Yes with the pouch,
I heard you may or may not be able to get them for free on the ship but I wasn't going to chance it. They were fairly in expensive so I got some. I try to make sure I have all the bases covered.

it no big deal if you loose one. Just go to guest services and get another one

smart move on.
CW

got a bunch done on cleaning up the old pool.
talked to the building inspector about the shed I wanted to build. He wants 2ft x 2 ft x 10 inch footers for each pier 8ft oc. Wants it 3 ft off the ground. 2x8 floor joist . If just rafters 2x6 if trusses 2x4 ok but have to have hurricane clips.

for cost of permit the figure how much if I paid someone.
But can build a 12x10 without permit

The lanyards for the cruise and the new fog light bulb for the coach should be delivered today. The new video control center is in and I will mess with it over the weekend. Hope to get the outside handle delivered this week too. I ordered some pretty nice stuff for the coach from camping world. We still need a few things for the inside but getting there. Have to be careful and not blow the budget trying to get everything at once.

you have to think of it as a small furnished apartment. You will always find some dodad or trinket for it, that is till you run of of space
